“Do I need a Permit from the City or County in which I live?”
YES!!
In most, if not ALL of the Counties of NC, You will need a Permit for any structure measuring over 12 feet by 12 feet in any dimension. If you buy a 12×12 Shed or 10×10 or 8×12 or 10×12, You will NOT need a Permit. If you buy an 8×16 Shed, You will!
Counties and Cities, if You live within the City limits, often require Tie Downs as part of the Permitting process! Tie Downs are NOT INCLUDED in the price of any structure, But can be purchased separately!
It is the Customers responsibility to know this before buying a Shed or Garage!
Please do your Due Diligence and Check with Your City or County before purchasing a Shed.
“Can I cancel my purchase after signing a contract?”
YES!! But ANY and ALL SECURITY DEPOSITS WILL BE FORFEITED AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!
When You sign a Contract and put down a Security Deposit, You are agreeing to fulfill Your part of that Contract!
” If I purchase a Lot Model Premier Shed, When can I expect Delivery and Set Up?”
Under normal circumstances 7 to 10 Business Days* after Purchase!!
*Business Days DO NOT INCLUDE Saturdays and Sundays!!
“What Happens When & After I Place my Order For a New Shed or Carport/Garage?”
Hi, my name is Sean Nicholson — Owner and General Manager of ShedMart USA.
When you decide to purchase your new shed, carport, or garage, we’ll sit down together in my office to complete the order process. Here’s what to expect:
- We’ll fill out a contract for either a cash purchase or rent-to-own (RTO).
- If your shed or carport/garage is being ordered, we’ll select your custom colors.
- A total price (or RTO payment terms) will be provided for your approval.
- If everything looks good, I’ll take your deposit or down payment, and you’ll sign the contract.
- You’ll receive a copy of the signed contract, which includes all contact information (phone numbers, addresses, and emails) for the manufacturer — such as Premier Portable Buildings or Eagle Carports.
Once the order is finalized, I will submit it to the vendor. Based on current lead times:
- Premier Portable Buildings typically takes 4–6 weeks
- Eagle Carports typically takes 2–4 weeks currently
When your order is ready to ship, the vendor will contact you directly to coordinate delivery and setup. All deliveries and installations are handled by the vendors.
Please Note:
I do not deliver or set up your shed or carport/garage, nor do I coordinate the crew that does. All delivery and setup is handled directly by the vendor (e.g., Premier Portable Buildings or Eagle Carports). Once your order is ready, the vendor will contact you to schedule delivery and installation.
” Can I choose a specific Date/Day for it to be delivered? “
NO!
Delivery & Scheduling Notice:
Both Premier Portable Buildings and Eagle Carports do their best to accommodate customer scheduling requests. However, please understand that in order to receive your shed or carport/garage in a timely manner, you may need to be flexible with your availability.
This means you might be required to accept delivery on a day that does not exactly match your preferred schedule—and in some cases, you may need to take time off work to be present for delivery and setup.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as the vendors work to deliver your building as efficiently as possible.
